I thought it nigh on impossible to trump Amos’ first piece of ‘practical artwork’ he did for me [DNA]. Seems I was wrong. Very wrong.
In my second collaboration with Amos – following a trip to The Flinders Rangers, SA – we discussed how to create an installation that would represent the journey of time, the journey of our continent and the journey of geological events. No easy brief. Oh, and we needed somewhere to put the kids’ toys.
Emails flowed. Time passed. Not quite a whole epoch, but clearly Amos wasn’t going to be rushed into this one! This was one project where time would feature heavily.
On Earth, time allows entropy, and entropy creates beauty. With Amos, time allows creativity and his creativity delivers masterpieces. Just Brilliant.
